Как минимум, там, по-моему, не поднимался вопрос о том, насколько распространено отсеивание как метод обучения в США. Даже пример с Math 55 в Harvard'е не совсем в тему, ибо Dennis Gaitsgory, если я не ошибаюсь, выходец из (экс-)СССР.
